Pre-dental Workshop

Pre-Dental Workshop was established by a non-profit organization named Dentists for Humanity (D4H) as a means to raise funds for charity works carried out by D4H and to offer pre-dental students opportunity to get exposure to field of dentistry. The courses are run by students currently attending and recent graduates of BU, Harvard, and Tufts Dental Schools. 

       

The program provides students with the following:

 

  1. a chance to explore dentistry as a potential career choice through lectures and hands-on activities

  2. guidance on different steps of dental application process, such as the DAT, the personal statement, and interviews

  3. an opportunity to enhance their applications through shadowing and volunteer opportunities provided by D4H

  4. awesome networking opportunity with current dental students and instructors from dental schools

         

Pre-Dental Workshop also offers participants a chance to network and build a strong relationship with current dental school students and practitioners. Established relationships will not only help students in dental school, but also as professionals in the dental field.

 

The cost to participate in the pre-dental workshop is $100 (USD). All profits from the program will be used for charity work carried out by Dentist for Humanity. Workshop will be held at 126 Inman St, Cambridge MA 02139.
